Installation principles of composite eye washers

1. Eye washers must be installed near hazardous work areas.
2. Distance from the straight line to the eye washer: 10 or 15 meters.
3. Rescue points must be cleaned and confirmed, and all obstacles must be removed.
4. There are no electrical switches or other electrical interfaces around the eye washer.
5. Drinking water must be connected.
6. Water source pressure ≥ 0.2 MPa
7. Provide water source interface ≥ 1 inch NPT
8. Shower heads and eye washers must be cleaned and tested weekly.
9. It is necessary to provide guidance to operators on the correct use of safety equipment
10. Wash the eyes and face for at least 10 or 15 minutes.
11. The sprinkler head should last for at least 5 or 10 minutes.
    Specific installation steps for composite eye washers
    According to the installation drawings provided by the manufacturer, install the eyewash in steps.
12. According to the installation hole size of the eye washer base, drill 3- ¥ 10mm holes at the location where the eye washer needs to be installed.
13. According to the eye washer drawing, assemble the eye washer in steps. (Special reminder: Eye washing and spraying should not be on the same plane. The spraying should rotate 45-90 degrees on the left side of the eye washing.).
14. Install the assembled eye washer in the designated position and secure it with expansion screws.
15. Connect the water inlet, inlet size: 1-1/4 inch, NPT.
16. Connect the water outlet, outlet size: 1-1/4 inch, NPT.
