Before a new trial begins, the team should confirm where emergency shower and eyewash equipment is located. Access routes should be clear, and operators should know the nearest station. If carts, tanks, test rigs or temporary pipes block the route, the layout should be corrected before work starts.
Inspection should include water flow, spray heads, valves, covers and drainage. Portable units should be checked for fluid level, cleanliness and service condition. Since pilot work often involves new procedures, safety review should be repeated regularly instead of assuming last week’s layout is still suitable.
